After graduating as an engineer, I used to work as a software engineer until my MBA. Then, I was slotted into an analyst profile and worked on a whole lot of SAS and SQL projects. During this time, analytics was still new in India. It was just booming, and I saw many people struggling with their skillset.
I drew upon my computer science background and combined it with the functional knowledge of analytics and set out to do something from my heart – to train people and empower each of them to become a one-man army! And that’s how Nikhil Analytics was born.
On the personal front, analytics has empowered me to think beyond the ordinary. It excites me that every solution is different, and we need to evaluate requirements while considering out of the box. Being among the first few women in analytics when I started out, I never felt like there was a glass ceiling for me. I believe that if you are thorough with your knowledge, the sky is the limit to your achievements. When I’m not working, I revel in my family time with my two kids, listen to music, or watch a lot of movies.
