Since childhood, I was passionate about numbers and mathematics. It was right when I passed out of college that analytics started becoming the ‘in-thing’ in India, so everybody wanted a piece of the pie. For me, with a background in Statistics, Analytics became a default option for a profession. It was later that Analytics stopped being just a job and started becoming part of my life.
Now, knowingly or unknowingly, analytics has crept into every aspect of our lives, and data-based decisions run our world. We have innovations on innovations being done to fine-tune and optimize our analytical outcomes and processes combined with superior insight generation and business value add. It is impossible to fathom or fully appreciate what is happening in this field because of the sheer magnitude of these innovations. But one thing is for sure; data analytics is here to stay and will be there for a long time.
